Akwaaba Kofi! is a spin off of the video book, A Prayer for This Day, from content creator Wednesday Boateng. Wednesday Boateng is a New Orleans native with Ghanaian heritage. Expressing a love for music as a singer/songwriter, she recorded an inspirational cd titled You Gotta Start Somewhere, and a cd of bedtime songs entitled A Loving Place. Inspired by her love for parenting, she wrote and created a music video for a Christmas lullaby, Baby of Love. Flowing in her passion for literacy and representation, she co-authored a children’s book, C is for Cowgirl. During her college years at Howard University and as an employee, Wednesday served in leadership roles and received various awards and recognitions for her contributions. She is a wife and mother of four.
