Day 7:

Morning departure to Akosombo

Depart Accra  to Akosombo drive through the Shai-Hills, 

Stopover at the Shai Game Reserve, home to several animals such as antelopes, 

monkeys and baboons. An expanse of savannah grassland and woodland.

Have an excellent bird watching experience.

Continue to Akosombo.  Tour of  the Akosombo Dam and Hydrolectric plant.

Dinner and overnight in Volta hotel. 

 

Day 8:

 

After breakfast Cruise on the majestic Volta Lake, one of 

the largest man made lakes in the world.  

Return to Accra for Dinner and overnight in Fiesta Royale Hotel.
