VISION 2024 -PROGRAMS

Our Story:

The Killmonger Birthright Africa Quest  began with a bold idea—offering a life-transforming  trip to West Africa to youth of African descent  between the ages of 18 and 26 and, in doing so, transforming the future of the relationship between African youth and their extended family of people of African Descent globally. It is also part of African Diaspora Nation's program of Action for the International Decade for People of African Descent.

Our goal is to empower all youth of African descent globally, especially the unaffiliated, our target is to facilitate this for 10,000 people by 2024.

The opportunity of a trip is made possible by the entrepreneurial endeavors of sponsors and applicants.

The quest begins for selected applicants  from July 1st - July 20th, 2018.

Program Description:

There is something of Africa in all people that is awakened during a mindful immersion into the energy and beauty of the continent. Ghana captured the soul of Africa when at it's birth it declared it's independence as meaningless unless associated with the total liberation of the African continent - the motherland of all people of African descent. Ghana's natural beauty,  history and many colorful cultural traditions present an awesome opportunity for people of African descent to strengthen the African part of their identity thereby facilitating clarity of purpose, vocational clarity, relational integrity and community impact. Through this 20-day journey new friendships will be formed with Africans and their African Descent peers; experience all the must-see/must-do highlights and return home with a new sense of perspective and wonder.

Pre-Trip Orientation: We examine a socio-political model of the human development system and examine the influences exerted by historically clear violations of the dignity of Africans and peoples of African Descent on everyday people. We also draw out innovative solutions for reversing the cultural pollution left behind by this history while unleashing a critical mass of social entrepreneurial activity and global partnerships that uplifts africans and  people of African descent  This orientation is delivered in a webinar format. Date and links will be communicated privately to selected applicants.
